Riesgo de suicidio en una muestra brasileña de minorías sexuales y de género

Las personas que forman parte de grupos de minorías sexuales y de género presentan un mayor riesgo de problemas de salud mental. El presente estudio examinó las relaciones entre la congruencia sexo/género, la homofobia internalizada, la conexión con la comunidad LGBTQIA+, la depresión y el riesgo de suicidio, con el objetivo de identificar factores de riesgo para el suicidio. Un total de 411 adultos brasileños que se identificaron como minorías sexuales o de género respondieron a un cuestionario en línea. Un modelo compuesto por congruencia sexo/género tipificada, congruencia sexo/género mixta, homofobia internalizada, depresión y riesgo de suicidio explicó aproximadamente el 8% de la varianza de la depresión y el 33,8% de la varianza del riesgo de suicidio. Estos resultados sugieren que la depresión puede explicar el riesgo de suicidio de manera más significativa que las variables relacionadas con las minorías sexuales y de género. Se discuten las implicaciones de estos hallazgos para la prevención del suicidio en la población brasileña.

Política de Archivado, Uso Compartido y Reutilización de Preimpresión, Manuscrito Aceptado y Versión Publicada Final
La contribución de los autores a la RBTCC tiene tres versiones, que se definen a continuación y se pueden archivar, compartir y reutilizar en las siguientes condiciones:
1. Una preimpresión (o envío original) es la versión del artículo del autor antes de que se realice una revisión por pares. Antes de la aceptación para la publicación, el (los) autor (es) se reservan el derecho de hacer una preimpresión de su artículo disponible en: su propio sitio web personal y auto-mantenido; un servidor de preimpresión legalmente compatible, como PsyArXiv y arXiv. Una vez que se ha publicado el artículo, el (los) autor (es) debe (n) actualizar el acuse de recibo y proporcionar un enlace a la versión definitiva en el sitio web del editor, agregando el texto: “Esta es una preimpresión de un artículo publicado en la Revista Brasileña de Terapia Conductual y Cognitiva.
